In what has been a mixed relationship with the Metal Gear series, I can finally say that I have full jumped on the boat. From what I have played so far, I love all the changes, but I really should say they’re more like improvements. Stealth is still the prime way of going through the game, but now more than ever, it really feels like you have the option of going Rambo on everyone simply because Snake is sneaking around in a warzone and firing an M4 without a suppressor doesn’t exactly garner as much attention as it would have in past games. Of course this still “a sneaking mission,” and there are parts where you need stealth, but it is in these areas where the changes are most notable. Things like clinging to walls, octo-cam, the enemy detection ring, etc. are all welcome changes. Gone is the soliton radar and the vision cones of the enemy. I’ve yet to tackle the online mode mostly because I’m still intrigued by the single player. Oh and the Beauty and the Beast Corps is leagues above the boss groups that have been in past MGS games (yes even better than MGS1’s bosses).

You mean I can’t reveal that the Patriots are actually a group of elves dedicated to making the first quadruple stuffed Oreo in an attempt to control free thought and glucose levels?
