I know we haven’t been able to update as often but we’re working on something. As I type this I’m on the Turkish Riviera with some Cognac in my hand. Back in the US we can only hope Sam hasn’t been blown away (yes homo) by hurricane Ike. Godspeed Sam.

Back in 1999 I never thought I could get so much into a first person shooter for the PC, but then Unreal Tournament came along and changed all of that. UT was a fast paced game that threw away most conventions like reloading and rockets killing upon impact. UT also placed an emphasis on competition as multiplayer was pushed as the dominant form of playing the game. Let’s fast forward to 2008. After having Unreal Tournament III on the PC and PS3 for over 8 months, UTIII has finally arrived on the Xbox 360. As I popped in the disc, sounds of the deep voiced “commentator” kept ringing in my head. “HEADSHOT,” “MULTI-KILL,” “ROCKET SCIENTIST.” UTIII keeps the tradition of a fast paced, competitive, and frantic FPS with some minor additions, but as you’ll read doesn’t exactly add much to the FPS pool when compared to other FPS of recent.

Back in 2004, Team Ninja (at the time best known for breast physics and mediocre fighting games) released an update of the classic title Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox. Featuring a level of difficulty not seen since the NES days, some (pussies) deemed it too hard, but those who persevered were rewarded with an action game experience like no other. Ninja Gaiden quickly became one of the Xbox’s top titles, playing an important role in the Great Gamefaqs Board Console Warz of 2004. 4 years and two “updates” later, Ninja Gaiden 2 was finally released for the 360 and, well, some things really aren’t better the second time around.

New evidence to support moon theory!

Why would someone on EARTH have the EARTH in the background sky? Unless the moon now has land, water, and an atmosphere. Check and mate.
